PERSPECTIVE

I have worked on hard problems and have come to learn that solving our society and planet’s problems will require that we prioritize the development of people. Technology will only take us as far as the consciousness of the people who invent and manage the technology. Our institutions and industries need leaders who can grow and evolve to meet the moment. The necessary creativity and resources are already there within all of us, waiting to emerge through development and transformation. Leaders of today and tomorrow will be called to move our systems beyond the current mentality of fear and reactivity and toward greater meaning and purpose. Every leader has the responsibility to cultivate their own presence and consciousness to meet the increasingly complex challenges of our times. Wise and selfless coaches have helped me to transform and find my path to greater awareness and the self-generating joy and love of my work. I coach because I know it works, and I wish the liberation I have experienced for others.

In the 5 years it took me to recover from heart surgery, I learned how to accept, heal, and grow and experienced a transformational shift. I saw the truth of mortality and committed to using my remaining time in this body to deepen my awareness and benefit others. Accepting the truths of impermanence and interdependence, I opened my heart and shifted to live and work from a place of joy. My intention is to continue to evolve my consciousness and to make everything that I come into available so others may benefit. My practice continues with weekly meetings with my men's group, regular meetings with my spiritual teacher & coach, ongoing training in Aletheia, Presence-Based Coaching, and other methodologies to support my growth and the growth of my clients as leaders and people.
